whats the good news, bad news,  no news, pending news, plans, other then the ice fishing. keith have you done any follow ups on that trout nova scotia funding issue, George taylor is coming over to pick up a donation soon, and a little prod to them  wouldent hurt,  it  would give me a excuse to bring the subject up, as George carries a pretty big stick at T N S . whatcha think?.  Reelman

I did inquire and was told it would be on the table for their next meeting but have heard nothing since.
If you want to bring it up you have the ok. Not being used to this I was not sure how much nagging would be appropriate.

There are a few things I will be posting about in the next week or 2.
Nothing that is real news but I will be looking for some member involvement.

Thanks for the visit yesterday Eric.  It was great to get some information about the gear that was left at my house.

You mentioned how nice the rod would look when it was fixed up.  It that something I can do myself, or should that be left to the professionals?

For anybody who is looking for gear, you should get to Eric's.  He has some great deals on flytying materials, and has some nice spinning gear as well.

I remember once when I was in Scouts, I made a nifty little burner using a tuna can, a coil of corrugated cardboard and some paraffin wax. Heated up a can of beans on the front lawn one summer day under my mother's watchful eye. It was fun at the time, although in hindsight it was a lot of work for a lukewarm can of beans.  Tongue

This little contraption will cook.. it will boil water in a few minutes... I think there are other vids that show different mods but none all that difficult to do.
